EPA Official Al Armendariz Likens Philosophy to Romans Pillaging Turkish Villages, Crucifying People To “Make Examples Out of Them”

28 Apr

In this video, you will see Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) official, Region VI Administrator Al Armendariz, make some bold admissions about EPA’s tactics that more resemble those of bullies than caretakers.    In 2010 he said,

“I was in a meeting once and I gave an analogy to my staff about my philosophy of enforcement, and I think it was probably a little crude and maybe not appropriate for the meeting, but I’ll go ahead and tell you what I said:

“It was kind of like how the Romans used to, you know, conquer villages in the Mediterranean.  They’d go in to a little Turkish town somewhere, they’d find the first five guys they saw and they’d crucify them.

“Then, you know, that town was really easy to manage for the next few years.”

“It’s a deterrent factor”

Controversy over Undercover TSA on Houston Buses, Video and Links

27 Apr

METRO’s official website stated after the exercise that “Law officials performed random bag checks”

A Press release before the exercise  stated bag checks would take place, yet  METRO officials continued to deny that any bag searches had occurred besides those where the passenger had been pressured into giving permission.

“On April 13, the METRO Police Department invited TSA to be a part of its bus-safe exercise.   METRO said then and repeated for days afterwards there would be random searches of bus and train passengers’ bags,” reports ABC 13.

“METRO and TSA were going onto the buses and questioning people about their normal routes and their normal behavior, and it just kind of creates an atmosphere of fear,” said METRO rider Derrick Broze.

“I don’t feel like by purchasing a ticket or riding a bus that I have to forfeit my Constitutional rights and my protections and be subject to search or seizure,” Broze told METRO board members. “We don’t plan on letting this issue die if the TSA stays in our city.”

The Chief of Police, Victor, Rodriguez, has already confirmed the unconstitutional searches and ID-ing will continue to take place and quite possibly become routine.   METRO President and Chairman George Grenias promised that warrantless bag searches would not occur, even though Rodriguez told ABC 13 last week that “he does have the right to search your bag and may tell his officers to do it.”

In the 2011 congressional report trashing the TSA, the purpose of the agency is stated:

TSA‘s mission is to establish screening security standards for all modes of transportation When originally established in the Department of Transportation, TSA was given the broad leeway to complete that mission. In March of 2003, TSA was integrated, along with 21 other federal agencies, into the new Department of Homeland Security (DHS)”

Don’t think it won’t happen in your city.  There were more than 9,300 TSA/VIPR checkpoints conducted in the USA,000 checkpoints last year alone

TSA Defends Pat-Down Of Crying 4-Year-Old Girl At Kansas Airport

TSA Defends Pat-Down of Crying 4-Year Old Girl at Kansas Airport

WICHITA, Kan. — The grandmother of a 4-year-old girl who became hysterical during a security screening at a Kansas airport said Wednesday that the child was forced to undergo a pat-down after hugging her, with security agents yelling and calling the crying girl an uncooperative suspect.

The child’s grandmother, Lori Croft, told The Associated Press that Brademeyer and her daughter, Isabella, initially passed through security at the Wichita airport without incident.  The girl then ran over to briefly hug Croft, who was awaiting a pat-down after tripping the alarm, and that’s when TSA agents insisted the girl undergo a physical pat-down.

Isabella had just learned about “stranger danger” at school, her grandmother said, adding that the girl was afraid and unsure about what was going on.

“She started to cry, saying `No I don’t want to,’ and when we tried talking to her she ran,” Croft said. “They yelled, `We are going to shut down the airport if you don’t grab her.'”

But she said the family’s main concern was the lack of understanding from TSA agents that they were dealing with a 4-year-old child, not a terror suspect.

There was no common sense and there was no compassion,” Croft said. “That was our biggest fault with the whole thing – not that they are following security procedures, because I understand that they have to do that.”

Brademeyer, of Missoula, Mont., wrote a public Facebook post last week about the April 15 incident, claiming TSA treated her daughter “no better than if she had been a terrorist.”   The posting was taken down Wednesday.   Another post said the family had filed formal complaints with the TSA and the airport.

he TSA released a statement Tuesday saying it explained to the family why additional security procedures were necessary and that agents didn’t suspect or suggest the child was carrying a firearm.

“TSA has reviewed the incident and determined that our officers followed proper screening procedures in conducting a modified pat-down on the child,” the agency said.

The statement noted that the agency recently implemented modified screening procedures for children age 12 and younger to further reduce the need for pat-downs of children, such as multiple passes through a metal detector and advanced imaging technology.

“These changes in protocol will ultimately reduce – though not eliminate – pat-downs of children,” the statement said. “In this case, however, the child had completed screening but had contact with another member of her family who had not completed the screening process.”

Why did they need to modify their procedures of molesting every child that wanted to fly?  Because they know these sick “modified” pat-downs, which have proven time and time again NOT to be any different than the molestation those 12 and over endure, are WRONG, INVASIVE, AND HARMFUL

U.S. Sen. Jon Tester, a Montana Democrat, pressed the TSA for more information Wednesday.   Tester, a member of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, said he was concerned the TSA went too far.

“I am a staunch advocate for effective transportation security, but I’m also a strong advocate for common sense and the freedoms we enjoy as Americans,” Tester wrote to TSA Administrator John Pistole. “Any report of abuse of the power entrusted to officers of the TSA is especially concerning – especially if it involves children.”

In a phone interview from her home in Fountain Valley, Calif., Croft said Brademeyer tried to no avail to get TSA agents to use a wand on the frightened girl or allow her to walk through the metal detector again.   She also said TSA agents wanted to screen her granddaughter alone in a separate room.

“She was kicking and screaming and fighting and in hysterics,” Croft said. ”  At that point my daughter ran up to her against TSA’s orders because she said, `My daughter is terrified, I can’t leave her.'”

The incident went on for maybe 10 minutes, until a manager came in and allowed agents to pat the girl down while she was screaming but being held by her mother.  The family was then allowed to go to their next gate with a TSA agent following them.

Croft said that for the first few nights after coming home, Isabelle had nightmares and talked about kidnappers.   She said TSA agents had shouted at the girl, telling her to calm down and saying the suspect wasn’t cooperating.

“To a 4-year-old’s perspective that’s what it was to her because they didn’t explain anything and she did not know what was going on,” Croft said. “She saw people grabbing at her and raising their voices.   To her, someone was trying to kidnap her or harm her in some way.”

That last sentence is so powerful.  Even a four year old knows this is wrong and harmful.  Call your representatives and demand these abuses and violations of our civil liberties  stop immediately.  Please.  Drop some of this knowledge on them:  How Scared of Terrorism Should You Be?

” a rough calculation suggests that in the last five years, your chances of being killed by a terrorist are about one in 20 million.  This compares annual risk of dying in a car accident of 1 in 19,000; drowning in a bathtub at 1 in 800,000; dying in a building fire at 1 in 99,000; or being struck by lightning at 1 in 5,500,000.   In other words, in the last five years you were four times more likely to be struck by lightning than killed by a terrorist.”

Russia, U.S. to Hold Anti-terror Drills on U.S. Soil in May. No Big Deal.

Russia, U.S. to Hold Anti-Terror Drills on U.S. Soil in May

This could be very innocent.  America could simply be sharing its military expertise with its pal, Russia, but how often does America do something for others without gaining something in return?  What has prompted Russia to join the club of  foreign troops who have trained on US soil?   Are they still trying to sell us on terrorist drills, and what percentage of Americans are still buying it?  I’m curious to hear how people will downplay this, if it ever gets mentioned.  I can just see those opposed to the drill being accused of being redneck nationalists who need to get trendy, step into the global present, and embrace the training of foreign soldiers on our soil.

Regardless of how you feel about foreign soldiers in America, the very idea that we could see war in our country is frightening.  I think sometimes we forget that war doesn’t just destroy infrastructure, inflict debilitating injuries, cause mass deaths of soldiers and civilians, bring famine, disease,  and looting, but also brutal, widespread rape of women and children by soldiers and criminals.  It has occurred in every single war and the centuries old practice shows no signs of changing.  Rape is in fact  considered a crime of war.

Sexual Violence Against Women and Girls in War and Its Aftermath:  Realities, Responses, and Required Resource (pdf),                                             briefing paper for UNFPA

Maybe we should have a look back in history and see how the Soviet troops “helped” the women and girls they liberated in Germany during and after WWII:

Rape During the Occupation of Germany

“As Allied troops entered and occupied German territory during the later stages of World War II, mass rapes took place, both in connection to combat operations and during the subsequent occupation that was to last many years. Most published and most numerous are the rapes committed by Soviet servicemen, for which estimates range from tens of thousands to two million.

A book by Svetlana Aleksievich provides memories by Soviet military personnel about their experience in Germany. According to an officer,

“We were young, strong, and four years without women. So we tried to catch German women and … Ten men raped one girl. There were not enough women; the entire population ran from the Soviet Army. So we had to take young, twelve or thirteen year-old. If she cried, we put something into her mouth. We thought it was fun. Now I cannot understand how I did it. A boy from a good family… But that was me.”

A female telephone operator from the Soviet Army recalled that,

“When we occupied every town, we had first three days for looting and … [rapes]. That was unofficial of course. But after three days one could be court martialed for doing this. … I remember one raped German woman laying naked, with hand grenade between her legs. Now I feel shame, but I did not feel shame back then… Do you think it was easy to forgive [the Germans]? We hated to see their clean undamaged white houses. With roses. I wanted them to suffer. I wanted to see their tears. … Decades had to pass until I started feeling pity for them.”

Of course, U.S. troops were not innocent either.

In Taken by Force, J. Robert Lilly estimates the number of rapes committed by U.S. servicemen in Germany to be 11,040. As in the case of the American occupation of France after the D-Day invasion, many of the American rapes in Germany in 1945 were gang rapes committed by armed soldiers at gunpoint.

Although non-fraternization policies were instituted for the Americans in Germany, the phrase “copulation without conversation is not fraternization” was used as a motto by United States Army troops.  The journalist Osmar White, a war correspondent from Australia who served with the American troops during the war, wrote that

After the fighting moved on to German soil, there was a good deal of rape by combat troops and those immediately following them. The incidence varied between unit and unit according to the attitude of the commanding officer. In some cases offenders were identified, tried by court martial, and punished. The army legal branch was reticent, but admitted that for brutal or perverted sexual offences against German women, some soldiers had been shot – particularly if they happened to be Negroes. Yet I know for a fact that many women were raped by white Americans. No action was taken against the culprits. In one sector a report went round that a certain very distinguished army commander made the wisecrack, ‘Copulation without conversation does not constitute fraternisation.’

I’m very grateful that our government has been preparing for disaster, but the thought of Americans being okay with foreign troops on our soil seems like a joke, but perhaps I am still just a redneck nationalist not hip to the global jive.

I don’t like to make a habit out of using Infowars or other such sensationalist websites as a source, but this is organized, legitimate footage containing interviews with military personnel.   If this isn’t convincing, there is other, less in depth footage of these types of drills on youtube.

There was a book I loved as a kid that I cannot find because I don’t remember the exact title.  I was always sad when I had to return it to the library.  I would sing the words aloud, and I can still hear the innocent, hopeful tune.

“One world, one heart, one heart loving everyone.

One world, one love, one world loving everyone. ”

I write this with complete honesty, although I know it sounds dramatic, but after reading the article I heard new lyrics echoing in my head…

“One world, one war, one war killing everyone”
