Twitter: We Comply with 63% of Government Requests – Mashable.com

Twitter: We Comply with 63% of Government Requests | Mashable.com.

Twitter released its first transparency report Monday — but the takeaway may not have been exactly what the company hoped for.

The report focused on several matters relating to users’ freedom to post what they want: how frequently governments around the world ask for Twitter users’ account details; how often Twitter complies with those requests; and how many copyright complaints it receives and grants to content-owning companies.

Twitter has responded to requests for 1,181 users’ information thus far in 2012, the report reveals. The vast majority of those were inside the U.S. Overall, in 63% of cases, some form of user info was handed over. (In U.S. cases, that rose to 75%.)

The company was at pains to point out that it informs users when they’ve been asked to hand over details, except where prohibited by law. It also trumpeted the fact that it has acceded to no government requests for outright censorship of tweets. (Law enforcement in five countries asked for that.)

My mail opened & inspected, one package was ‘The New World Order’ by Wells; “FBI Task Force” listed in wifi networks. Is it real?

18 Jun

One of the packages that was ripped open by the government before I received it just happened to be H.G. Wells New World Order. Seriously.

One night I ordered over sixty books on Amazon.com that could very well be banned in ten years.  I chose a lot of H.G. Wells, Huxley, Zbigniew, Kissinger, Woodward, Kagan, Bernays, and many, many more.  I even got the actual Agenda 21 manual, which is put together in a hard cover book.  When my orders started arriving, I noticed two packages had been opened and marked with bright orange stickers.  One of the packages contained the book The New World Order by H.G. Wells.

This is one of the packages that was opened by grubby fed paws. They obviously wanted me to know.

Wow, was the person who did this 8 years old? Nice skills, boot-licker, did you finally graduate kindergarten?

The Time Times Thursday Theater: ‘The Obsolete Man’

7 Jun

The Time Times Thursday Theater presents:

The Twilight Zone’s

The Twilight Zone: “The Obsolete Man”

‘The Obsolete Man’

“You walk into this room at your own risk, because it leads to the future, not a future that will be but one that might be. This is not a new world, it is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has even planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super States that preceded it, it has one iron rule: logic is an enemy and truth is a menace... This is Mr. Romney Wordsworth, in his last forty-eight hours on Earth. He’s a citizen of the State but will soon have to be eliminated, because he’s built out of flesh and because he has a mind. Mr. Romney Wordsworth, who will draw his last breaths in the Twilight Zone.”

Chancellor:You are obsolete, Mr.Wordsworth!

Wordsworth: A lie, no man is obsolete!

Chancellor: You have no function, Mr.Wordsworth. You’re an innacuranism, like a ghost from another time….

Wordsworth: I am nothing more than a reminder to you that you cannot destroy truth by burning pages!

Chancellor: You’re a bug,Mr.Wordsworth. A crawling insect. An ugly, misformed, little creature, that has no purpose here, no meaning!

Wordsworth: I am a human being…

Chancellor: You’re a librarian, Mr.Wordsworth. You’re a dealer in books and two cent finds and pamphlets in closed stacks in the musty finds of a language factory that spews meaningless words on an assembly line. WORDS, Mr.WORDSworth. That have no substance, no dimension, like air, like the wind. Like a vacuum, that you make believe have an existence, by scribbling index numbers on little cards.

Wordsworth: I don’t care. I tell you: I don’t care. I’m a human being, I exist….and if I speak one thought aloud, that thought lives, even after I’m shoveled into my grave.

Chancellor: Delusions, Mr.Wordsworth, DELUSIONS!! That you inject into your veins with printer’s ink, the narcotics you call literature: The Bible, poetry, essays, all kinds, all of it are opiate to make you think you have a strength, when you have no strength at all!!! You are nothing, but spindly limbs and a dream, and The State has no use for your kind!!!! (Calming down) You waste our time, Mr.Wordsworth, and you’re not worth the waste. Instruct him!

Forget about FaceBook, New Social Media Network For The Informed and Awake

31 May

A new social media network has stepped into the arena at planet.infowars.com, and they don’t have any plans to monitor your activity, store your data, or pull a “pump and dump”.  While it is only in the beta stage and lacks some FaceBook features, it makes up for it with the community posts and articles written by other users.  There are plenty of groups to join, and planet.infowars.com provides a variety of ways to connect with others, keep up with activism, and plan future events.

Iran-Contra Documentaries and Seymour Hersh 2007 Video: Iran-Contra Has Returned, U.S. Funds Al Qaeda

29 May

Here is another example showing that a ruling elite is not a secret.  Our government is NOT “our government” any longer.  Watch this, and then view the Iran-Contra documentaries below it.  If you don’t have time to watch them now, be sure to bookmark them and watch them later.  The information is vital to understanding the current situation in the world.

This is an older documentary but it’s really informative.  It discusses the Iran-Contra affair and the shadow government that has taken control.   It’s not sensational.  MUST-see.

This segment specifically discusses the shadow government, although it is a constant theme throughout the entire film.

This is a great documentary explaining the connections between Iran-Contra and the drug war, specifically the crack epidemic.  It also explains Afghanistan, opium, the war on terror, and the war on drugs.  It’s another MUST-see.

Sinking in yet?

  • Our government is not “our government” any longer.  It has been taken over by powerful, rich elites, primarily bankers and those in the business of war, who work outside the laws of the U.S. without any oversight.  In the Iran-Contra documentary, they refer to the group  as “The Enterprise.”
  • This government, or “The Enterprise”, has used terrorism to take away our freedom.
  • This government funds the terrorists they claim to protect us from.
  • This government does not care about me or you.  They care about keeping control of me and you.
  • A vast majority of “our” representatives are bought off and fearful of the elites.
  • The DHS’s new mission is to focus on the American people, not terrorists, as it was created to do.
  • All electronic communications are monitored, recorded, and stored.  This includes phone calls, text messages, instant messages, email, every website visited, Skype, any voice programs, e-wallets, and anything else I have forgotten or that has yet to be introduced or created.
  • This government overthrows democratic and non-democratic foreign governments, often by proxy, using “rebel forces” that are sometimes imported.
  • George W. Bush wasn’t a conservative; he was a puppet of the elite.
  • The destabilization and takeover of the middle east was planned in the 1970’s, with credit going to Henry Kissinger
  • The story lines you have been fed about terrorist attacks have morphed over the years.  Looking back on old news articles and T.V. news reports, it is very clear that we have been manipulated, that the narratives have changed to fit the agenda of the elites.
  1. We see this happening today with the CIA agent who stopped the new underwear bomber by giving a bomb to the would-be terrorist and then bravely (sarcasm)  taking it back.  The CIA agent has since turned into a double agent for Saudi Arabia, and the non-plot turned into a grand scheme to blow up an airliner.
  2. In Syria, the “U.S.” aka shadow government is funding the terrorists who murdered at least some of the 90 people killed in the Houla massacre.  The massacre is now blamed on the Syrian government, even though the Syrian people and Russia are accusing foreign countries, Syria naming the U.S., of funding imported terrorists.  Some of the people who were killed in the massacre were shot at close range, some in the head and face, suggesting they weren’t murdered by shelling from tanks, as the shadow government wants us to believe.
  • Environmentalism is used to take control of the people.  The Smart Grid, smart appliances and the intelligent transportation system will be the final nail in the coffin once fully implemented, monitoring every aspect of life, complete with rationing laws and remotely controlled water and electricity.
  • Things will not get better unless we come together, utilize our combined strength (which is our new ideas and the power of many voices shouting in unison), and make things better.  The ruling powers will not one day just return our freedom to us.
  • Nearly all media is controlled by six corporations and is highly censored.  See infographic below from frugaldad.com

We are not free.  It is time to start thinking of solutions for serious government reform.   Capitol Hill and the White House need to be swept clean and sterilized from top to bottom, in my 100% non-expert opinion.  There are a few representatives who seem worthy of keeping their positions, but the majority need to step down or be removed.  Laws need to be retracted, prisons need to be taken out of the private sector, petty arrests and imprisonment must stop, the police forces must be de-militarized, the military budget must be reduced, the DHS, TSA, NSA, and FEMA must be eliminated.  Of course, I am not knowledgeable enough to have any real ideas or strategies, and I honestly have no business speaking on a subject that I am so ignorant about, but my point is we need real change, not the kind peddled by Prez B.O.  To me this means no longer compromising integrity by working within the corrupt system, but wiping the current program from the hard drive of America and firing the programmers, essentially, we must have some form of revolution.  Perhaps there is a way to do this less dramatically, again, I do not have the expertise to voice any real ideas (but I’ll continue to do so anyway.)

Regardless of what kind of revolution, I believe a great change will be trying, stressful and bring certain negative consequences, but I have no idea to what degree we will suffer or sacrifice.  We may enter a period of destabilization, while highly undesirable, it seems it could be  a possible outcome of trying to establish a government “of the people, by the people, for the people,” a system that is more than an illusion of freedom.   However, I fear many will choose to be comfortably numb slaves over bleeding freedom fighters.  I do not think they’ll even be aware that they are not free.  And I fear they may indeed “love their servitude.”  Again, I don’t really know what I’m talking about so please don’t judge my rambling too harshly.

Meet ISIS, Mobile Wallet, Set To Launch Summer 2012

6 May

ISIS, a wireless Mobile Payment System to be launched this summer, is yet another step towards a cashless society,  introducing mobile wallets, a joint venture created by three major mobile operators, Verizon , AT&T, and  T-Mobile USA.  A mobile wallet will be part of a user’s mobile device, allowing for a  more timely and “highly personalized” shopping experience.  The technology would allow a customer to check-out at stores by merely tapping or waving their mobile phone over a payment reader.   It would hold account information, credit cards, gift cards and loyalty cards, and be a two-way communication between customers and financial institutions, as well as marketers,  offering promotions, coupons, and alerts about products related to past purchases.

Google Creep Factor Increases Again, Street View Cars Spying on Emails & Texts Not Accidental

6 May

dailytech.com

                                  Image from vancouversun.com

Google’s brilliant Street View has been appreciated as an innovative resource, as well as invasive foe, and it’s looking like it’s “accidental” disregard for the Fourth Amendment may not have been so accidental.

The project was supposed to be for the betterment of mankind, or something along those lines.  But Google’s altruism has been called into question when it was revealed that it was using its wired Street View vehicles as warwagons to troll unsecured wireles connection connections.  Further, the Google cars were discovered to be intercepting unsecured email and SMS traffic, data mining peoples’ private conversations.

Google cast this hidden capability as a “bug” in the Street View code, created by a misguided engineer.  But according to the FCC while Google appears to have broken no laws in spying on people on unsecured lines, emails between the engineer in charge of the program and two other employees — including a senior manager — indicate that the program was not a rogue effort. It was in fact on the radar of at least some members of Google’s senior staff.

The FCC did dock Google $25K — essentially a slap on the wrist for the multi-billion dollar tech firm — for impeding its investigation.  But Google claims it has nothing to hide and is publishing the emails described by the FCC, with the engineers and manager’s names redacted.

Google now admits that five of its engineers were involved in the effort, but it denies knowingly playing unwelcome house guest on home internet connections across North America and Europe.

The internet firm categorizes the snooping as “minimal” and says that the program was not even big enough to be reviewed by the company’s legal staff.  The program was launched in Oct. 2006 by “Engineer Doe” and was pre-approved by at least one manager who devoted resources to the project.
