New DHS Scanner Knows What You’ve Eaten, If You’re High, & What’s in Your Purse From 164 Feet Away

5 Aug

With this technology, the molecular-level scanner called a Picosecond Programmable Laser can detect traces of drugs, chemicals, weapons, and food in one-trillionth of a second, or a picosecond.

The lasers will be in use in airports and other high-risk areas within one to two years, according to an unnamed undersecretary from Homeland Security. The company that has acquired 30 patents relating to these particular types of scanners, Genia Photonics, says the Picosecond Programmable Laser scanner can ‘penetrate clothing and many other organic materials and offers spectroscopic information, especially for materials that impact safety such as explosives and pharmacological substances.’

In-Q-Tel, a technology company playing middleman between DHS and Genia Photonics, states that “an important benefit of Genia Photonics’ implementation as compared to existing solutions is that the entire synchronized laser system is comprised in a single, robust and alignment-free unit that may be easily transported for use in many environments… This compact and robust laser has the ability to rapidly sweep wavelengths in any pattern and sequence.” [PDF]

The scanner is capable of detecting substances and processing the data from 164 feet away. It is ten million times faster and one million times more sensitive than any other existing security technology that is available. How widespread could the use of this technology become? Could there eventually be scanners in movie theaters, temples and churches, grocery stores, night clubs, and schools? Will we be scanned without even knowing it? Will our fourth amendment once again be ignored and disregarded?

Because it is such a small device, I can see it being put into police vehicles, as a Huffington Post article from July points out. Could this laser play a part in the legalization of marijuana? One dilemma with legalizing the drug is the hazard of irresponsible people driving under the influence, and the lack of technology to test if a person is high on marijuana at the time of a traffic stop. This new fourth amendment-crushing monstrosity, the Picosecond Programmable Laser, could solve that problem…and probably create three hundred new problems in the process. Current methods of testing for marijuana can show the drug in a person’s system even if the person has not used it in a month.  Could this  device aid in convincing the government and the public that marijuana should be legalized? What will we be giving up by allowing the use of these scanners? What opportunities for further abuse of power would this technology provide?

Twitter: We Comply with 63% of Government Requests – Mashable.com

Twitter: We Comply with 63% of Government Requests | Mashable.com.

Twitter released its first transparency report Monday — but the takeaway may not have been exactly what the company hoped for.

The report focused on several matters relating to users’ freedom to post what they want: how frequently governments around the world ask for Twitter users’ account details; how often Twitter complies with those requests; and how many copyright complaints it receives and grants to content-owning companies.

Twitter has responded to requests for 1,181 users’ information thus far in 2012, the report reveals. The vast majority of those were inside the U.S. Overall, in 63% of cases, some form of user info was handed over. (In U.S. cases, that rose to 75%.)

The company was at pains to point out that it informs users when they’ve been asked to hand over details, except where prohibited by law. It also trumpeted the fact that it has acceded to no government requests for outright censorship of tweets. (Law enforcement in five countries asked for that.)

Protesters Demand Fast & Furious Documents At White House

At 10 am this morning, for about two hours, a group of about 30 independent activists will gather on the White House lawn to demand the release of the Fast and Furious documents requested from Attorney General Eric Holder, but are currently being withheld under executive privilege. On Thursday, AG Holder was being held in criminal and civil contempt of Congress for withholding the documents, however the media has been spun in a bizarre direction, citing racism towards AG Holder as the true reason for the charges. The American people seem to have ignored the public hearings, available for viewing on youtube, because if they had watched them, they would know the accusations clearly have nothing to do with race.

Make sure to get trending on Twitter. #FireHolder #FastandFurious

NewsDiffs Shows Changes Made to New York Times Articles After They’re Published | Betabeat.

speech-and-sight-arabawy.org

I’ve heard stories of online news magically changing, I’ve witnessed it happen, I know it happens, but I am always happy to see it brought to the public’s attention. We ARE being censored, we ARE being monitored, my mail has been opened and inspected, and I’m not sure about the noises my friend and I always hear when we talk to each other on the phone.

I wish the people still sleeping would snap out of it and realize everything they know is a lie. I am aware that I am ignorant as well. In an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) world where information travels so quickly and is at your fingertips at all times, we cannot possibly ever know the full narrative, but at least I try to find truth, to understand it, and share what I find with others (most of whom don’t listen.) When they wake up one day after QE3 and their money that they just HAD to make is worth nothing, and the job that they just COULD NOT take a vacation from no longer pays enough for them to eat, maybe then they’ll get it.  It will be too late though. I think it already is too late.

For the story on how I have been (and most likely still am) monitored, see My mail opened and inspected…

I made a large online purchase of all the books that will most likely eventually be banned. Two of my packages came opened and marked. My best friend, whom I have long discussions with concerning corruption and dissent on the phone as well as via email exchange, had her new phone intercepted at the post office by feds, however she was out of the state at the time.

Wow, was the person who did this 8 years old, or was it opened by the monkey they use to train the TSA?

It’s a little known fact that government employees are actually trained by monkeys. (This is a joke.)

One of the packages that was ripped open just happened to be H.G. Wells New World Order. Seriously.

After my best friend and I started emailing and talking about corruption and dissent, this started popping up on her computer. Now it shows up all of the time, but disappears within a few seconds. We’ve got some strange things going on with our phones too.

My mail opened & inspected, one package was ‘The New World Order’ by Wells; “FBI Task Force” listed in wifi networks. Is it real?

18 Jun

One of the packages that was ripped open by the government before I received it just happened to be H.G. Wells New World Order. Seriously.

One night I ordered over sixty books on Amazon.com that could very well be banned in ten years.  I chose a lot of H.G. Wells, Huxley, Zbigniew, Kissinger, Woodward, Kagan, Bernays, and many, many more.  I even got the actual Agenda 21 manual, which is put together in a hard cover book.  When my orders started arriving, I noticed two packages had been opened and marked with bright orange stickers.  One of the packages contained the book The New World Order by H.G. Wells.

This is one of the packages that was opened by grubby fed paws. They obviously wanted me to know.

Wow, was the person who did this 8 years old? Nice skills, boot-licker, did you finally graduate kindergarten?

LOST is Centralized Control of the World by the UN

June 9th, 2012

The UN’s Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) will deliver American sovereignty and seven-tenths of the world’s surface through allocation of oceans and seas to the UN by way of the entanglement of global bureaucracy.

Over three decades ago, then President Ronald Regan rejected LOST, saying “no national interest of the United States could justify handing sovereign control of two-thirds of the Earth’s surface over to the Third World.”

The writers of LOST want to give the UN power to draw oceanic boundaries to impose environmental regulations and restrict business on the high seas.

LOST would give critical US naval and drilling operational decision making and final word to the UN.

Regan believed LOST was an “effort to promote global government at the expense of sovereign nation states — and most especially the United States.”
On Capitol Hill, supporters of LOST include Senators Richard Lugar (who now heads the Senate Foreign Relations Committee), Chuck Hagel, John Warner, Trent Lot.

The coalition of the US Navy, multi-national oil corporations led by Shall and radical environmentalist lawyers are providing advocacy for the UN’s usurpation of our individual rights as an independent nation.

Big oil supports LOST because of its provisional extension of jurisdiction over the continental shelf beyond the current 200 mile limit.

However, LOST requires that royalties of between 1 and 7% be paid to the International Seabed Authority (ISA) on the value of oil and minerals produced from those waters.

Effectively, the UN would regulate offshore and deep-sea production all over the world. The financing would come from American taxpayers. The taxation collected by the ISA would be redirected to the UN.

Larry Bell of Forbes magazine wrote that “as much as 7 percent of U.S. government revenue that is collected from oil and gas companies operating off our coast” and then reallocated by the UN to “poorer, landlocked countries.”

In the name of environmental justice, trillions of dollars would be siphoned from Americans.

Police Handcuff and Detain Forty Bank Robbery Bystanders; Story Details Change Without Note By CBS

7 Jun

There are a few phrases in the English language that I assumed made everyone’s ears burn and turn red when they heard them.  I don’t know who first told me to be wary of these simple words, but I do not doubt the warning.  There is something very chilling in justifying criminality and tyranny with these short statements:

The ends justify the means.” and “For the greater good.”

CBS reports that Chief Daniel Oates shamelessly declared “The ends justify the means” because a suspect was caught after the Aurora Police Department shut down an intersection in search of a bank robber.  At the intersection, the police stopped 19 cars, and detained all 40 innocent people who had been riding in the vehicles, because the officers had some undisclosed technology providing information that promised “virtual certainty” that the bank robber was among the 40 innocent Americans being harassed.  The cops had the suspect’s name but no picture, description, or any idea what car the robber would be in. This somehow permitted an ordinary crime, once again, to be the reason for the annulment of the fourth amendment, and therefore the disrespect and arrogant dismissal of the rule of law and justice.  frederickleatherman.wordpress.com had this to say:

A reasonable suspicion is more than a mere hunch. It requires articulable facts and circumstances that would cause a reasonable person to suspect that a particular individual had committed, was committing, or was about to commit a crime.

Apparently, Officer Fania was looking for a particular weapon, which he believed was concealed in one of the vehicles at the intersection, but he did not have a description of the robber or the vehicle the robber was driving or in which he was riding. Therefore, every vehicle the police stopped was an unlawful stop, including the stop of the vehicle that contained the person they subsequently arrested.”

The Time Times Thursday Theater: ‘The Obsolete Man’

The Time Times Thursday Theater presents:

The Twilight Zone’s

The Twilight Zone: “The Obsolete Man”

‘The Obsolete Man’

“You walk into this room at your own risk, because it leads to the future, not a future that will be but one that might be. This is not a new world, it is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has even planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super States that preceded it, it has one iron rule: logic is an enemy and truth is a menace... This is Mr. Romney Wordsworth, in his last forty-eight hours on Earth. He’s a citizen of the State but will soon have to be eliminated, because he’s built out of flesh and because he has a mind. Mr. Romney Wordsworth, who will draw his last breaths in the Twilight Zone.”

Chancellor:You are obsolete, Mr.Wordsworth!

Wordsworth: A lie, no man is obsolete!

Chancellor: You have no function, Mr.Wordsworth. You’re an innacuranism, like a ghost from another time….

Wordsworth: I am nothing more than a reminder to you that you cannot destroy truth by burning pages!

Chancellor: You’re a bug,Mr.Wordsworth. A crawling insect. An ugly, misformed, little creature, that has no purpose here, no meaning!

Wordsworth: I am a human being…

Chancellor: You’re a librarian, Mr.Wordsworth. You’re a dealer in books and two cent finds and pamphlets in closed stacks in the musty finds of a language factory that spews meaningless words on an assembly line. WORDS, Mr.WORDSworth. That have no substance, no dimension, like air, like the wind. Like a vacuum, that you make believe have an existence, by scribbling index numbers on little cards.

Wordsworth: I don’t care. I tell you: I don’t care. I’m a human being, I exist….and if I speak one thought aloud, that thought lives, even after I’m shoveled into my grave.

Chancellor: Delusions, Mr.Wordsworth, DELUSIONS!! That you inject into your veins with printer’s ink, the narcotics you call literature: The Bible, poetry, essays, all kinds, all of it are opiate to make you think you have a strength, when you have no strength at all!!! You are nothing, but spindly limbs and a dream, and The State has no use for your kind!!!! (Calming down) You waste our time, Mr.Wordsworth, and you’re not worth the waste. Instruct him!

Arrested For Spitting, Is this Singapore or the U.S.A.? Neither (And other ways we’re screwed)

6 Jun

Read “Florida Man arrested for Spitting on Sidewalk“and see video at TBO.com

Warning:  This piece is riddled with personal opinion, sarcasm, insults, political incorrectness, bad attitude, and a little foul language, but it does provide a nice handful of important information as well.  Enjoy!

Joseph Stoiber, a self-proclaimed insomniac, was out for an early a.m. stroll, talking on his cell phone, when a police officer approached him and questioned his motives for…gasp…walking around a supposedly free country.  The officer asked to pat him down, as he legally has the right to do, even though it is absurd and repugnant to the Constitution, but Joseph Stoiber refused, as he has every legal right to do because the cop had no probable cause.  The cop and the Stoiber started disputing the really simple, obvious legality of  Stoiber, an American citizen guilty of no crime, nor suspicious of committing any crime, walking about his own country in the morning hours and refusing a warrantless search.

“Things got heated” (read: Cop’s ego couldn’t handle legally being told “no” by a lowly citizen) and Stoiber was handcuffed.  He then committed the unthinkable crime of spitting on a sidewalk because he had chewing tobacco in his mouth.   Stoiber was then arrested, because it is illegal to spit on the sidewalk in Florida
